Plot Development

An earthquake has ravaged the land. Familiar places have become crumpleds shadows of their former selves. The dogs of the city pound have begun to band together to face whatever challenges may be in store together as a combined effort. The city seems a far-off venture from the kennels that have been their housing for the past few weeks. Hungry and curious on the state of their owners - for those that had them - the dogs venture into the unknown.

The autumn brings with it residing heat of the summer. There is yet to be felt the chill of winter on the winds as a heat wave following the earthquake has kept the lands unusually warm for a longer than expected season.

Prey is abundant though skittish. Plants have become dry and brittle due to the lasting heat. There is still plenty to scavenge through the remnants of human society.
